If you have an Asian boyfriend there's at least one Asian man who does like you! You're not having a relationship with his parents. Perhaps they're religious and traditional and want him to marry someone of his own kind for that reason? You need to show an interest in their culture and show respect for it and them too. If you and your boyfriend are serious about each other they will probably accept you in time, he must feel fairly confident to have introduced you in the first place. Don't get defensive, it's not about you, its about them not being able to change and accept more modern ways. Be yourself and you'll win them over.

First, you can really say that a whole race doesnt like one since they are individuals. But I know many asian fmailies who have strict guidelines for who their children will marry. And remember this (when it comes to these fmailies) its not the child getting married, its the parent (as well as their way of networking). These asian families that I know typically want their child to marry an asian from the same country, then maybe another asian, then white, then latina, then black. Just try to talk to the parents, not about the whole situation, but just about life. Basically, get friendly with them. Win them over. Invite them over for cookouts. They still may not warm up to you, but honestly, it shouldnt matter. Their son should love you regardless of whether they do (and they may assume its a phase).So dont rush it and try to use as much logic as you can(any mistep of their future daughter-in-law will be seen by any parent a mile away). If his parents are influcing him to marry someone else that isnt you,and hes listening, he may not be the guy for you. Oh, and most of all, parents tend not to ike who their children want to marry. Its part of life, unfortunately.

Asians don't like anybody sweetie. Don't take it personally. Just be your wonderful self, you'll win them over when they see that your kind to their son and polite to them, when they think you'll make a good mother. If they dont soften, screw them, its their loss. Also, tell your boyfriend to get a backbone and stick up for you. If he doesn't, dump him.
