  • yes, of course
  • Ultra Fine Point SHARPIEs are perfect.
  • No, it is not a good idea to use a ball point pen to label your CDs. The whole data stored inside the CD or DVD might get destroyed. These soft tipped permanent markers, ball pens and sharpies are harmful as the ink from the markers penetrates into the CD or DVD and can damage the whole data. I would suggest you to use either a water-based permanent felt tip marker or sticker type labels which are fit for CD-R labeling. There are some specially designed markers available in the market for labeling the CDs and DVDs only. Else water-based permanent felt tip marker is always effective and safe to label the discs. check this: http://www.liquidbubbleduplication.com
  • yes - a felt tip pen...
  • any type marker such as the felt tip Sharpie fine point etc are fine, the only things you DO NOT use are ink pens, pencils as when you use pressure to write on to CD/DVD you can and will cause damage to them. labels are fine but again use felt tip markers or many printer today have the ability to run the cd/dvd's though them and printer right onto the label.
