  • Well, of course he cries. He's a baby who no longer has his mother, is in new and strange surroundings, having to adjust to new people and a new diet. It is quite normal. You should worry if he DIDN'T cry at night. I got a kitten recently (8 weeks) and he cried at night the first few days too, and then stopped. However, yours is 7 weeks old and that's a huge difference in cat age. Try to give him a cozy place, possibly with something of yours to sleep on (old sweater, t-shirt). Give him lots of attention and affection during the day. Make him feel safe and welcome in his new home. He needs time to adjust. Good luck!
  • Yeah. He's just lonely. I got my last kitten when she was 2 weeks. So by the time she got a lil age she'd jump in my bed and sleep with me.
  • Your kitten is first too young to leave mom. Kittens and puppies should be with mother until they are at least 8 weeks of age. Your kitten is crying because he's in a new place with new smells and does not have his litter mates. Give it time he'll come around and stop crying.
