For a Catholic... If you mean in the sense "God is a tree", i.e. God is not separate from creation, then your statement is incorrect. If you mean in the sense of "God is everything - good and evil", then your statement is incorrect. If you mean in the sense of "Got is Truth" or "God is Love", then your statement is correct. I'll let non-Catholic Christians answer for themselves.
