  • Staph bacteria from your skin grow on a wet washcloth. You might just have to wash them more often. Putting a little bleach in the wash helps. If you are in a place where you can hang your wash out, ultraviolet light helps to kill bacteria too. And the faster you get it dry, the less time the bacteria has to grow.
  • Change your cloth each day. You use different towels and wash clothes are much closer to the body. Wash with a light bleach and always dry do not leave hanging or laying with stale soap and water on the cloth.
