  • It's none of my business but why would a person want to do that? that is exactly why insurance rates are thru the roof..did you know someone has to pay for the money that you might get in a settlement and it's the other consumers that have that insurance company and it's considered stealing from them. Would you want your insurance to go up because I sued someone for no reason.
  • Not at all, unless the potential defendant was Trump. :p I was rear-ended under similar circumstances. I got out, looked for dents, checked the operation of my trunk and turn signal lamps, we exchanged info, and that was that. Perhaps the other driver in your case was running or was part of a swoop & stop insurance fraud operation. I wonder if she had other claims filed against other victims.
