If I am living in a furnished apartment, and the stove breaks down, who is responsible for getting it repaired? Do I pay for the reparation or is it the responsibility of the landlord?

I think you mean "repair" and not "reparation". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reparation When I rented, the stove and oven is a fixture and not something you would take. Get the landlord involved, they are responsible.

The key words here are "furnished apartment". Your landlord is responsible for repairs. YOU will only be financially responsible if YOU broke it deliberately or through negligence.
