I trust that all the verses, poetry and dramas singing the praises of true love throughout history can't all be wrong.
Perhaps I reconsider if you become famous for discovering that love is just a figment of our imagination, !!! like a wet fart, "pffft", gone!

No. I've experienced both and they are strikingly different. Love definitely exists, it's just far more rare than people think. I think the biggest difference in the two is that love endures while lust peters out eventually.

it is an illusion a word charaterized by meaning expression the lust thing though i don't think so

- Clearly it was lust that got the two people to date in the first place. Nobody these days will date a guy that looks like a monkey or a guy with the IQ of three. They go on dates merely to make themselfs look good or to feel better about themselfs.
