  • I started reading the emails in my spam folder in April when I found that all email sent from ABers was going there. Very annoying, I had to mark them as 'not spam'.
  • yes always I often have good emails that are sent to my junk span box.
  • it depends on which e-mail account I am accessing.
  • These days I find it pretty easy to figure out what spam is really spam and what is by accident. Most of them are pretty obvious. But I don't open anything I don't recognize.
  • I usually get several hundred a week, but I do a quick review of them before hitting the permanent delete. I would say about 1 or 2 are not spam.
  • Keywords will throw them there. If you look through the legit ones, you may find a word or phrase that MIGHT have put it there. It could also have to do with the sender's IP, unless you put some words or names in a filter of your own. I look at those AND the ones that go directly to the Delete folder for the same reason as you, and because I use them in my website, to show REAL examples of not only SPAM, but Scams. ;-)
  • Yep. Usually they are spam though.
  • yea i look in the spam folder and i see who sent the emails but i dont open them cause there could be a virus :)
