No. The opposite is true. I see them having a high school diploma.
-
When I meet someone new I usually judge their education level by how articulate they are. That being said many people are self taught and express themselves extremely well. If you really want to know and you feel it would not be intrusive just ask.
-
Depends on the person's line of work. I can usually tell whether they've gone to college based on where they go 9-5, or where they DON'T go.
-
Not if they come from my little town!If they have a diploma of some sort every one knows, and they are not working here LOL
-
When I first meet someone, I don't assume anything!
-
No. College education is expensive so it is reserved for either the children of the rich or those that don't mind having to fork over a chunk of their wages/salary to a lender every month until they retire. However, many people here actually are more educated than most college grads. You and I have crossed paths before so you might remember a little about me. Take a guess at MY education level.
-
I don't assume that at all. I have known intelligent people that haven't attended college.
-
I never think about whether someone went to college at all. In fact it usually surprises me to learn that anyone went at all. Going to college just wasn't a priority to me at all so I don't think about it at all.
-
No. I'm young, and still working towards my college degree, but I assume that most people haven't finished college. Also, my parents never finished college, so that probably plays into how I perceive people I meet.
-
I did not attend college so it is not something I think about. I know a guy who had to go to college and get an education in computers. He is now working in a Tire and Battery shop doing heaven knows what. He denounces college today like it was the worst thing in the world. You know what it was the worst thing? It was because he was away from his family and started meeting women off the Internet and screwed around with one and then she dumped him and went back to her husband and child. This college boy had a good job at a successful women's clothing distributor working in their computer department but was never happy. He then proceded to get himself arrested because he was soliciting underage girls for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts with them. Really bright for a college guy? He must have loans to pay back and now can't even probably work in the field of computers because of his arrest.

To be honest, I have never contemplated it. I have interacted with morons who hold higher education degrees and intellectuals who barely made it out of high school. Only those who are hiring for a specific position within a company should be concerned with a person’s education.
-
No, actually the smartest people I know, never went to college, their life experiences, out weigh, college people by far. I try not to assume.
-
great question. sometimes. i live in an area where there are many highly educated people and it's easy to assume... although i know that i shouldn't.
