I've heard that theres a salt that makes a penis soft. I heard they use it in prisons and military boot camps. Is this true? If so, where can I get information on it?

This is one of the oldest folk legends ever! I was in the military and still had erections in bootcamp and afterward.

    Saltpeter or potassium nitrate?

The only thing I know about this formula is that it burns hot and it's pretty. I think it's gunpowder or something.
Toss some into a campfire and you'll see how fast (and sparkly) it burns.

I've heard saltpeter is used in the way you described, but I don't know for sure.

    :D

Thank you so much for that! My husband's in boot camp and was worried why he was getting smaller and couldn't get an erection. 18 days later and he finally was able to ejaculate. I wrote him a letter, telling him I would find out if it was because they were adding something in the food... but this makes sence! His anxiety to succeed, physical eshaustion and radical change in lifestyle are all reasons why his peter would go in hiding!
Thank you so much for your help.

You are thinking or heard of saltpeter.

Saltpeter (AKA niter or potassium nitrate) has been used historically in fireworks, fertilizer and to cure meats. I believe the British sailors started the myth long ago (Limeys) that saltpeter was put in their food to promote, shall we say dysfunction (?)down yonder.

Truth be told this myth continues on today, there are people who claim to have been 'poisoned' by their wives using niter to reduce their libido. however there is no medical reason why niter should do that.

Further exposure to saltpeter/niter leads to headache, stomach upset, kidney damage and anemia.

The military would not put its troops through that kind of medical suffering, it would reduce the effectiveness of their military. In Western Nations the use of anything that would cause such symptoms in prisoners would go against human rights and be serious violations of those and would lead to much embarrassment up and down the government of that state or nation that did such.
