Does the fact that Russia is fighting Georgia's independence matter or even scare you? Russia is the big bear of the north, and we should take notice. They could dominate Europe.

I think for right now we should leave well enough alone. That said, yes, it does concern me. Old Vladimir Putin smacks of the old Czars. I can only hope that Russia's recent military posturing was a precursor for this action, and not for a confrontation with the West.

I am starting to see many similarities in the world today and that of the world of the 1930s. Many countries are struggling for domination and many different ideaologies are being bandied about. It`s all the same shit different pile if you will excuse my French. Only the names have changed. Basically the world is a powder keg at the moment and it will only take a spark for it all to explode. In WW1 it was the assassination of Duke Ferdinand. In WW2 it was the assassination of Ernst Vom Rath, a German official, in Paris, by a young Jew. The world is on the brink, and something like this could definitely push it over the edge.

It doesn't scare me as much as the reports on what is really happens PISSES me OFF. . The American Military has trained Georgia's military since 2004. . Today, American bodies have been recently found and Russia claims to have mercenary soilders with American Flags on their uniforms. . It really pisses me off what the American Government gets away with EVERYDAY.
