I worked in a drycleaners for a few years. The reason the prices are so high is because renting a space that uses drycleaning chemicals is ALOT of money. The insurance is high too etc. None of the bosses I had were rich off their business.

It should cost a lot less than it does but then in the UK everything should cost a lot less than it does.

I don't know. The rich can always employ a live-in maid/nanny girl who has to clean both her employer's clothes as well as her own/uniform as a work task.
