  • You are discussing the downloading of illegal content and this matter shall be issued directly and immediately. Your ISP has been contacted and your I.P. address has been logged. Just kidding. I don't think the law is very clear about that, but you could probably win a case in court if you had the CD with you when you D/L'ed the music. Even if it was broken, probably; you still technically have possession of the music.
  • Strictly speaking, I suspect this would be deemed illegal by the record company, but I also believe it would be morally wrong to charge you again for something you've already bought, given this situation.
