I have a 1991 GMC s15 jimmy. The heater doesn't work. I get good air flow when the temperature is selected to cool but as I move the lever towards hot, the flow drops off. I have checked the heater core. It isn't clogged. Any ideas?

Check you duct tubing. Many times when the circulation system is turned on debris can collect from the outside air vents which circulate the air. leaf's and twigs can be drawn in and clog up your duct tubing.

you need to take the heater core out, put it up to a bright light and see if you can look thru it in thedirection of the air flow. I am willing to be t you can not. if you can not, blow it out with compresed air. and put it back in
