  • As a rule, I hate westerns, but did enjoy F Troop.
  • Growing up I always thought Little House on the Prairie was for girls, although I did start to watch it in France, where it in culturally entrenched. I also got to watching Dr Quinn, Femme Medecin in France, which was very enjoyable.
  • Rawhide (think I've already sung a few bars here at AB before! lol). Wagon Train. Maverick. Coming forward in time .. Bonanza. Even more current .. Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman Oh dear .. there was that other one .. back in time again .. ummmmm .. with Barbara Stanwyck as the matriarch? Wasn't the daughter's name Audra? Both rancher types and a lawyer type as the sons? Just .. can't .. get to the name of the show! Well .. add that one too, whatever it is!! :)
  • I always watched Bonanza, The Lone Ranger and The Rifleman.
  • F Troop, it was goofy like I was. I was almost named Matt after Matt Dillon because my mother went into labor while watching Gunsmoke.
  • Mine was F-Troop! They were so silly...and I thought Capt. Parmenter was cute! Although, I did also like Little House on the Prairie and The Lone Ranger.
  • Paladin. I had a big crush on Richard Boone. We didn't always have a TV, but we managed to watch and enjoy many of the shows you listed. Gunsmoke was a big favorite.
  • Bonanza
  • I loved westerns, still do and still watch them. I loved Gunsmoke and The Rifleman and Bonanza. But the others you mentioned were good, too. And you didn't mention Death Valley Days, Wanted: Dead or Alive, Maverick, Have Gun – Will Travel, The Wild Wild West, Father Murphy, A Man Called Shenandoah ( I had the Appaloosa from this show LOL!!) Kung Fu, How the West Was Won, Broken Arrow, Alias Smith and Jones :-)
  • I loved all of them but Little House on the Prairie. It seemed too Hollywood sweetened to me.
  • I love Little House on the Prairie... but they're in Minnesota. Does that count as Western?
  • little house on the prairie after getting in from school i loved to hate that snot bag Nellie Olsen and felt sorry for her nice dad.
  • My favorites were Maverick, Wild Wild West and F Troop. I also really liked The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. and Alias Smith and Jones.
