Simple is best to me and you also have the least chance to over cook the shrimp and turn them into rubber. So I'll take garlic butter, a little lemon squeezed on top.

Either is good. The trick, for me anyway, is to actually grill the shrimp on the side before putting them into the sauce. If you cook the shrimp in the sauce you tend to get an aftertaste.
