When you say take a bullet do you mean die? Because I would definitely be willing to suffer a flesh wound for some people, but to actually die...I don't know, I'm not feeling very Christ-like today.

I feel that I would probably take one for anyone . I'm not one to sit back and let or watch comeone else get hurt . I'm a Mommy . I guess my protctive nature is very strong . LOL . Plus I know I'm right with God , and my kids are in his hands .

Wow, a BULLET. Thats horrible! But, i would take a bullet for OF COURSE, my mother or my father. I konw its usually the other way around, but, THEYa re the ones that have helped me along with life, and tought me right from wrong...THE LEAST I COULD DO, WOULD LET THEM LIVE. But of course, i would pray, that that bullet DOESNT KILL ME.

When you truly care for the wellbeing of other people, you will instinctively want to protect them regardless of the danger you put upon yourself. When it's hypothetical, you always think of the people you love first because you fear losing them, but if you actually saw someone about to be shot, you would (hopefully) try to get them out of harms way. It's funny, if a gun were pointed at you, you'd dodge to get away from the line of fire, but if someone else is in danger of getting shot, and you have a concern for the sanctity of life, you will do anything to preserve it.

Unfortunately, I'm too hesitant to take a bullet for anyone, even my family. I'm ashamed to say it, but I'd be too afraid of my own mortality to save a loved one. I'm more of an avenger than a martyr; if one of my loved ones was shot because I didn't do something about it, I would attempt to console myself by seeking revenge.

to be perfectly honest, no one. i think that emotional pain is harder to bear then physical pain. i would prefer to go through the pain of a loved ones death, rather than die myself and leave them to feel the pain and guilt knowing that i took their place.
