A gun for sure! ;)

I'd rather have a pistol..I hate the idea of sticking a knife in someone. I'd never get over the feeling of it.

A knife, i dont believe in guns.

it would be smart to carry both, but if the choice was to have one or the other, I would pick the pistol for I would have the pistol for the sake of security any where I was to be at

a volcano bomb... its detonation would be triggered by my inability to add more time to the countdown clock with movement registered by a tracking device like in the movie speed. I would not bring a knife to a gunfight but if one comes to me and it was all i had then at least it would be better than nothing, it might keep me from being taken alive =) *swipes knife wildly* you'll have to kill me before you get me lucky charms, and if you kill me you will have to drive me around forever in the trunk of your car everyday... i would carry an I.D. card proving that i am legally insane... i would flash it like a cop's badge to warn you that you don't want a fight with this mother fucker cuz i'm crazy... i suppose a gun would be the most effective tool but my current mental condition prohibits me from owning one under my own name... a blessing in disguise maybe because i would never want to use one that was in my name anyways i would want my grandfathers old pistol... he was a police man for a short time and this is how i know that more cops are dirty than clean because after a while as a police man he realized he should bust his partners in crime and not the civilians but he couldn't do it alone and they were the biggest gang, he did not want to just shoot them or anything so he retired. go get a gun, cuz when the police apocalypse comes you will need it... its for the better =D

its much better to carry a gun, not only can you get someone if they arent in arms reach but its alot less personal, killing someone with a knife is very personal and can damage you mentally.

A nice long sharp knife. By far my weapon of choice. If I'm killing you, It's personal.

If I didn't live in the "People's Republic of California" I would most assuredly carry a gun, but since law abiding citizens in CA are not allowed to protect themselves, a knife is the next best thing.
