I would have to go with Mike Schmidt. He was an awesome player.

I'd say either Pete Rose, Mike Schmidt, or Steve Carlton.

I would always hear stories from my dad about the Fathers Day Perfect Game. So I will say Jim Bunning. Even though I am 19, thats all i hear about from when my dad was younger.

I'd say Pete Rose was the best hitter (the most hits ever is hard to argue with). The best pitcher is between Jim Bunning and Pete Alexander, unless you're asking about how the pitcher pitched with the Phillies, in which case Bunning isn't even close (89-73, 2.93 ERA, 1.111 WHIP). Alexander was 190-91, 2.18 ERA and had a 1.075 WHIP.

"Lifebuoy Soap The Phillies use it . . . . . . and they still stink!" Oh, you said "Players" I thought you said, "Platitude". My bad! ;-)

It has to be Michael Jack Schmidt!
