What is your favourite way of eating abalone?

Uhmmm, I don't think I've ever eaten any. I love seafood, but I had to look this up to see what it was. I usually like my seafood simple, possibly raw with a little lemon, or on pasta, in wine sauce. I don't thing I've ever seen fresh abalones sold here in Italy though.
