The first real vacation that I went on was to Estes Park, Colorado when I was 21. We went across trail ridge road to Lake Granby sight seeing. Trail ridge road is the highest complete road in the nation. Then we went trout fishing at Lake Estes where we caught some trout and cooked them right there on the bank. Later that week, we drove to Colorado Springs where we went horseback riding in Garden Of The Gods. Then we went to Cave Of Winds and toured the cave. Also, in Colorado Springs we went to a big chuck wagon dinner. That was the first vacation my husband and I went on. And, I think it has been the best. Little did I know that in five years, I would move to Evergreen, Colorado. I lived there for three years.:)

Hard to chose for me. I don't take traditional type vacations. I went to London in 1996. Saw Eric Clapton at The ROyal Albert Hall, visited dozens of museums, drank real ale in many pubs. Also in 1996, I went to Tempe, AZ. I visited in early November. I love baseball, so I was able to see about 11 games in the Arizona Fall League. I went to a concert and I saw the NY Giants play the Arizona Cardinals on my last day there.

My mom bought my ex-husband and I a cruise in 2004 for Christmas. We had THE BEST TIME! (incidentally my last vacation) The weather was cold and rainy, and did not allow us to leave the ship in the Bahamas, but that did not keep us from having a blast :)
