Not hacked, it sounds like one of two things. First is a bit easier- it could be a driver issue. If you got a cd with your wireless card or computer, put it in again and re-install any driver pertaining to the wireless card. If you cannot find the cd or driver, you need to find out the model number of your card and search it on the web and download a driver there. Drivers are software that tell Windows how to use a certain device. Windows has many drivers integrated, however sometimes it will select the wrong one. A clean updated of the official driver should fix any problem. On the other hand, it could possibly be a hardware issue. The wireless card might have broken, which explains the erratic use of it. If the driver solution fails, I would suggest thinking about investing in a new, quality brand, card.
