What would I be waiting for? If I am waiting for someone to come back from Iraq, then of course! If I am waiting around for a certain someone to finally realize that I am special and "the one" for them, then no.

forever, as long as there was something to hold on to. i would need phone calls or letters or something to help me know they were thinking of me. :)

To do what? If someone I loved who loved me were to go away (say...military service) I'd wait forever. If we're talking about a married man and hoping he'll finally get a divorce..well, I wouldn't be dating a married man in the first place! :)

I've waited a long, long time. I had to wait 36 years. My husband waited 54 years for me! I am his first marriage and long term live-in relationship.
