I am only going to give you the first level of answer: you are alive because your parents had sex (or in some other way fertilized an egg with a sperm), you developed in your mother's uterus, and she gave birth to you. Since that time, you have managed to stay alive. I don't want to go deeper, because people have vehement disagreements on where life originated, how it originated, whether or not it has meaning, and, if so, what that meaning is.

You're not alone.All I can say is help people. and don't be afraid to ask for help. be a good person and trust your instincts when making decisions. You will make wrong decisions.When a family member, a friend, or a stranger helps you. they'll have an idea of why they are alive too.

Well u participate on AB! So we can kno 4 sure that u make it a point 2 try and help others with their questions and problems. So u can kno 4 sure that at the very least u r alive so that u may help others. I myself take a spiritual outlook on the subject. The Holy Bible teaches us that we were created 2 have a personal relationship with God.

Each and everyone of us are here for a different reason and are created in different ways. You have your own special ability, and for that specific abilty you are here to use it for good. You can make a difference. For an example, Obama was here do break the cycle of presidents and make a change to become the first african american president of the United States. You just need to think hard about it. Everyone has a reason. You'll have to find out soon in life. It's a lifetime adventure.

Sometime a phase in life comes when people starts thinking about the true meaning of life. They start wondering what if I would not have been here ...whats the Karma. Whats the purpose of life. It all mostly happen either aftera huge success or after a huge failure. Both of these creates a Void in your life, a placeholder which was earlier occupied by some idea or person or some other thing. I am asking this question to myself since last 27 years but no answer yet. All i can say is that once you will get involve in some things, this thought will vanish...but you will never find the answer
