As in all other marriages, the more affluent partner may be required to pay alimony, and if the partners cannot agree on how to divide their assets, the judge will help them decide. However, the very few LGBT married couples that I have seen divorce have done so very amicably, with not much of a fight over assets, and no alimony either way. So it's really on a case-by-case basis. Since the marriages are the same legally, the divorce of lesbians is the same as any other divorce.
