I get told that quite often to, its cos I walk most places and am usually in a hurry but my 6 yr old is in training and manages to keep up!

I am a fast walker too... I normally have to walk fast while at work, in New York City, so everywhere else I walk at the same pace... it's about 45 MPH. =)

I know I walk too fast. Everyone tells me I do. There's a story to it though. Up until the age of 18 I was 4'9. My sister was really tall for her age though and my Mom was tall compared to me. So they would both take these huge ass strides when we would all walk together. So I would have to walk like triple time just to keep up with them. Because my legs were so short and I took little steps. So, I grew, now I'm 5'11. My strides have gotten much much longer but the pace at which I walk didn't change at all. So now, I walk faster then a lot of people jog.
