Great Wall of China, the city of Jerusalem and the surrounding area including the Dead Sea in Israel, the island of Bali in Indonesia, sea forest of Bunaken on the island (North) Celebes/Sulawesi in Indonesia(according to some articles of US newspapers and magazines, such as Star Tribune, Minneapolis, Minnesota the most beautiful sea forest in the world),so if you like diving, that would be an awesome place to go, climb the Mount Everest in Nepal, if you like mountain climbing , the cities of Geneva,Lucern, Basel and Zurich in Switzerland, the eternal city of Rome in Italy, Pyramides, city of Kairo, camel riding in Egypt, see the Komodo dragon on the island of Komodo,Indonesia(the only place in the world where they live in nature, if you like to go shopping, I would recommend small country Singapore( South East Asia), the cleanest and one of the safetiest places in the world, Taj Mahal in India, there should be many interesting caves in New Zealand, unfortunately I forgot the name, Inka and Maya temples in Peru,South Amerika. The list is not enough ? How much money and time do you want spend ? Have you ever been to any of these places ? Sounds good ? But don't forget wherever you are either in or outside your country, be respectful to everybody, if you don't want any trouble. You sure will learn a lot from your journey. Hope this helps.

The Baths in Virgin Gorda, Tortola. Absolutely GORGEOUS. The water is crystal clear, and they have a cute little restaurant right near the rocks. An don't forget to go into the caves! It's so pretty there. I miss it! You WILL NOT regret going there! Another place to go would be Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. Amazing experience. Also, you should visit St. Thomas, USVI, and St. Maarten, VI. Go to the Cayman Islands if you can fit that in there too! And don't forget to stop by home in Palm Beach! My mom makes some mighty fine strawberry daiquiries!

There is a book, Places to Visit Before you Die. I've seen it a few places. It is a really complete list with info. The places I am crazy about are Venice, Italy, Ayers Rock, Australia, Cairns, Australia (where the Great Barrier Reef is) Paris, France. Istanbul, Turkey. The island of Malta. The Grand Canyon and Zion national park. Las Vegas (just to see a man-made wonder).

Well, I don't know if the other answers are all places those people have actually been to, but that's what my list is based on. These are all places I've enjoyed, want to see again, and recommend without doubt. I grew up in Northern Virginia, so my first choice, especially if you are an American, is Washington, DC to see our Nation's capital. Do it if you can in the springtime to see the Cherry Blossoms in bloom. Ride Metro to somewhere, because it's the cleanest subway system you'll never believe. Experience the beltway, so you'll know wht that means when you hear it referenced on the news. If it's late summer, travel west to Skyline Drive to see the colors of leaves turning over the mountains. Other places where I have cherished memories are: - New York City, but avoid it if it's rainy cause the city stinks of old pee and oily streets! - San Francisco is a beautiful city, with great shops and Chinatown foods! - Tucson/Phoenix/Scottsdale for incredible sky and hot, HOT days by the pool. The Biltmore is worth a visit! - New Orleans - well, this used to be true, but I don't know how much has changed since Katrina rearranged the scenery. - Atlanta - because it's the city built by Coca-Cola and CNN. Don't get lost, because all the streets are Peach this or that! - Baltimore to see what you've seen in Barry Levinson and John Waters movies over the years. - Orlando for Disney World! It's incredible and a must see! That machine truly runs and runs well! - Memphis, even if you aren't an Elvis fan, just driving by Graceland is worth seeing all the graffiti on the wall around the place! - Key West, although driving that long road to end up being trapped there is a bitch. Probably better to visit by water if possible. - Miami, cause it's a stylish city and probably will be for a long time to come. - Chicago, to eat really good pizza and other good ethic stuff! - Denver, you'll feel the air you breath there, in addition to smelling hops from Coors beer being made there. - Las Vegas - go off the strip to Mt. Charleston, Red Rocks, or even Pahrump to visit a legal brothel, just to see what it's like.

Just get out an Atlas and choose. Everywhere is worth visiting. Europe is the best bet to start because so many countries together it is easy to travel and then on into either Africa or Asia just keep going if you can.China and Japan through Malaysia and down through to Australia to New Zealand
