  • You can never make someone feel something that they don't want. If he didn't want the risk of having a child than he should have gone to greater lengths of protection. I would hope that you would do what you feel is right by you and your child. I don't know how old you are but I will tell you from personal experience, raising a child as a single parent is absolutely the most taxing thing I have been through. My child has chronic health problems which take precedence in my life and hers. If you are not ready there is always the choice of adoption. But you need to be prepared to do this on your own. He may one day come around and decide he wants to be a part of your child's life, but for now, you need to think about it as you are going to be doing the solo parenting.
