Well, technically yes, but it's not a good idea to try unless you know exactly what you're doing and can source a power supply that closely emulates your battery's output characteristics. Most laptops have a separate power connector for an external PSU, you would be much better off using this to supply your laptop, but be warned they are often odd voltages - mine's 19V at 3.5A so you would need an adjustable regulated high current DC supply. Connecting random supplies to the battery pack terminals on the PC is a fairly sure fire route to disaster. If you have to, carefully dismantle the battery pack and reverse engineer it. If this doesn't mean much, then don't attempt it!
