I have been put on light duty by my employer's doctor. Can my employer cut my hours back if I was hired for 32 hours a week? Also, does my employer have to pay me for my time at I spend at the Doctor's appointments?

in most states you have to be paid for appts.
if your light duty limits you to less than 40 hrs or there is only so much LD work then you employer can cut hrs in most cases
check ur Dr's restrictions before you make an issue about the hrs

I dont know if it is a state thing or a federal statute, but if you were hurt on the job, your employer has to pay you while you are at the doctors office if you are going for the job related injury. At least my company did, so I assume they had to. I was in PT for six months in 2005 and every time I went to PT, I got paid, and for every DR visit. And they paid me a 60 hour week with overtime, for light duty for those six months.

I hope you have an attorney. this is just a payback tactic to you, by your employer. it happens all the time.

Hire an attorney. he will straighten this situation out for you.

I had to do the same thing.
