  • What's wrong with them? If none are working, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say...replace the fuse.
  • The driver door won't open the handles are loose like their broke how do I open the door so I can remove the panel and fix the locks.
  • So you're saying that both the inside and outside handle on the driver door is broken? If that's the case, you're going to have to get in from the other side and try to remove the door panel with the door shut. You may actually need to remove the driver seat to do this.
  • you can remove the door panel with the door closed, move the seat all the way up so you can unclip all of the panel except for the front then move the seat all the way back and unclip all the other clips then the tricky part (roll your window down and do this from outside your car) is the top part by the air vent use a screw driver and pry the piece in between the door a panel, oh remember to disconnect the plugs too the panel should come out and slide to the back of the car then undo the seat if eletric move all the way forward first and remove foam piece half way then (i think it's completely impossible to do anything else yourself unless you get the jig saw out and cut a hole in the interdoor to be able to see or do anything at that matter)(cut out a hole big enought so your hand can fit in there, start in one of the holes already there) (this will be covered up by the panel anyways) after i did that i discovered a hole that you can barely see on the latch and a piece of metal barely sticking out (this is while looking in the hole you just cut out) closes to you on the latch, if you stick a flat head screw driver in there and pry it up your door will open!!! now if you want to replace the whole lock here's what you do along with skipping some steps you have already done 1. Remove door panel by prying it out, then sliding it straight up. The window switch panel slides in off the door panel. Peel back sound proofing. 2. Removing the latch is the hard part. I didnt have to cut anything. Start by removing the inside door handle. 2 screws then slide forward (important! dont break it) Use a small mirror and a flash light to help see. 3. You have to remove the window track next. Hex bolt at bottom corner of door. Then slide it down. 4. Undo (open) clip for outside door handle rod. Now you have 2 of the 5 rods off and things start to free up. 5. Remove 3 bolts hold the latch assemble to the door. Pull 2 electrical connectors off. 6. Key lock rod goes straight up from latch. There is a pink quick disconnect next to the key lock. Use a flat head to pry open and push the rod out. Only 2 rods left! 7. Next is the black tipped rod that sticks up through the door. I unscrewed the black plastic tip to give more clearance. Pull it down and out off the hole. This might bend it a little but can bent back later. 8. Now the last one. The Power door lock actuator J hook. Twist the whole assemble with the 3 rods still attached down and off the J hook. 9. Take a picture of the old assembly in case you forget the lay out of the rods! Lay the old and new next to each other and transfer the 3 rods to the new latch. 10. Reverse the instruction to assemble. The only tricky part is the outer door handle rod. I had to take it all apart again to tighten it up. Try and remove all the slack before closing the cilp on it.
  • it sounds like the linkage is disconnected. roll down the window and look inside the door with a flash light and pull on the door lock or handle linkage rods with a slim jim. best regards http://www.a1-locksmith.com
  • just "duck it"
