  • Hard to explain but it is a deep pain that normally starts at the joints. But then so many other things can cause this sort of discomfort, best to see a doctor.
  • If and when you visit a doctor, listen to how he/she describes the condition. Be advised, the doctor needs money for BMW payment. Try to solve the problem in a non-invasive way first. Heat pads, rubs, and even spoiled fish rubdowns can help.
  • I do, in my hands. I've had it for years. It is not constant, however..it comes and goes. When it hits, my hands get somewhat swollen, my joints ache and my hands feel hot. Just doing nothing at all hurts. Fortunately, these attacks don't last long...maybe half a day or so. Then they go away for awhile. When I worked (as an Accountant), those attacks prevented me from actually writing..so I took those times to catch up on my reading. Good luck with it. Hope your isn't a 24/7 kind of arthritis! Happy Friday! :) ((hugs))
  • If it gets swollen and hot it may be gout or pseudogout. There are specific treatments for this. This is also an auto-immune condition and can be an indication of some other underlying systemic disease. Better see a doctor.
  • Take a hammer and smack all your joints =). I think you'll be feeling it by then!
