I saw one on Sci-Fi channel. Just after the show Eureka after the show credits. Right before the first commercial after the credits were over, the screen went black with one word in large white letters on the screen. "Listen." It lasted maybe 1/10th of a second. I had it on DVR or I couldn't have seen what the word was because it only appeared as a flash when watching in real time. I was able to rewind and pause it so I could see what it was. This subliminal messaging was outlawed in the fifties, but apparently it still is being used. I'm not surprised. Whoever put it there wanted me to listen to the commercials. I imagine so I could run right out and consume the products they were selling. I'd laugh, but it's no laughing matter.

each episode has a different message - very random, though the second one did get me out of bed to try and find what it was. I also remembered the first message saying "listen". If it is subliminal, it worked.
