My prefrences are: Aaron Lewis of Staind, Davey Havok of AFI, and former Fuel lead singer Brett Allen Scallions. Since I'm not a big fan of the screamers, I did like Corey Taylor's work for Stone Sour since I could actually hear him.

That is hard to break down to just mere personal opinion.

Technically and properly... I would have to say Someone along the lines of one of the great tenors or Gili maybe pavrotti, I never really cared for him personally.

But if you mean by preference...

I have always love Jeff buckley, and I like the guy from that band One Republic (the song Apologize) and Jason Mraz. Even Gavin Rossdale has a gravelly quality to his sound that I love. And then you have Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley... It really depends and there are so many...

Sometimes... Things dont have to be tencnically perfect to be beautiful.
