What are the regrets that you keep to yourself after breaking up with your girl/guy?

i regret not seeing what could of happened if i spent more time with them and i regret hurting them if i broke up with them. because i would never really want to hurt someone or make them sad. but if they broke up with me then i regret not trying hard enough to show them how much i loved them and i regret being with them in the first place because they ended up hurting me.

That I was hoping so much that he would change his mind about breaking up that I didn't tell him just how much of a idiot he was and how much he was gonna regret losing me

In general, I think regrets are a waste of time. We learn, or have the ability to learn, through all of our experiences. But I guess I'd say I regret the fact that it didn't work out. And if I break up, I regret hurting the other person.

I regret... losing my virginity to a guy who gave me an engagement ring... but desired another woman whom he had been with, while we were together. He left me to be with her and left me wondering... if it was even worth it.
