in a comic book i dont know the issue or the date it was released but i think it was somewhere in 50s or 60s it was some crossover were clark kent and bruce wayne are attending some party on a cruise ship and something goes down and the two are in a room together, one has the idea to turn the lights off so he can change ( of course the thoughts going throught their minds are the same about the other not finding out ) then they rush out of the room together as batman and superman and there ya go
