Wear them! Is she a fashion diva or something. Get your money's worth. I bet no one comes up to you to tell you that you are OUT of fashion. I wear them, in the winter, it's too hot here, right now, to wear them. I've never heard that they are out of fashion! I say wear um!

If they have the snaps up them, you should wear them and give her a little dance... Maybe then she won't think they're so tacky.

They're really sexy (in my opinion) and still worn by a lot of people, so go for it! Check thrift stores and ebay to see if you can find some additional cool colors. If they're the ones from the 90s, that style of nylon (swish swish) is not made anymore. Go for it dude!

Hey...I like funky clothes so I say yes wear them. I wear them too although theyre getting harder to find. I have them in blue, white and yellow. in the winter i even wear some of my snowboarding pants around. they're similar in material/warmth.

Wear them for sure! You will probably discover how great it feels to wear unlined nylon and get hooked and want to wear track pants all the time! my girlfriend always tells me i look my absolute hottest when i wear nylon pants, so i have like 15 pairs now.

I actually wear them all the time...I agree with the guy who said the unlined ones are the best. I started buying them on ebay- especially from the UK, seems you can find more overseas than here in the US.

i would definitely also have to agree that the unlined ones are best. if they are lined i usually cut out the liner. the main reason i love wearing nylon is because it feels so smooth and nice, and with the liner i may as well wear normal pants. i don't wear them out too much, but ALWAYS as soon as i get home i switch into them. though when i am playing sports it gives me a good chance to wear them out.

Hey I do that too! I always cut out the liner! And I just use scissors. It doesn't look the tidiest on the inside, but being able to feel the nylon is well worth it ;)

Just wear them. Now that I think about it I really do prefer the smoothness of my unlined ones, and I think I am gonna cut out the liners. They are pretty much fashion-neutral I would say and your wife is probably just jealous that you are feeling good in the nylon and she is not.

There's nothing wrong with adult men wearing nylon pants, I wear them all the time now. I used to be strictly a jeans man until I asked a friend, who only wears nylon, what they felt like to wear. Anyway he offered to lend me a pair of his for a while to see how they felt. So I started wearing them and now I'm a complete convert and almost only ever wear nylon. I've also "converted" another 2 friends of mine to nylon! Unlined is best of course, very smooth. I usually wear nylon shorts underneath if I'm going out in them, but at home I don't wear anything underneath. Nylon pants are just more comfortable than anything else. I now own about 20 pairs of nylon pants and only 2 pairs of jeans. I even sewed a pair of unlined nylon pants into one pair of jeans, as a lining. So when I have to wear jeans I still get the smooth nylon feel inside my jeans. Took me ages to do it but well worth the effort. Once you've been introduced to nylon it's hard to like any other material as much. Luckily, nylon pants are still really common here in the UK and you see loads of guys wearing them. I think they are becoming more popular at the moment. All the sports stores stock them, Nike is the best brand for nylon pants. E-bay is also a good place to get them, especially from UK sellers. My advice to anyone is to try a pair of nylon pants, you'll never want to go back to jeans!

I have several adidas nylon pants I wear. They are comfortable and obody told me they are out of style. Wear them anyway and see if anyone gives you a dirty look. Chances are, they won't care either. You shouldn't care either... just enjoy your pants, life is short! Good luck!
