If humans never ate meat we would never have become smart. Answer to your question the world would become overpopulated with animals.
-
If everyone stopped eating meat, the world's economy would change. The meat industry and the cooking industries associated with it would go bankrupt. The tofu and other proteiny vegetables and vegetarian things would increase sales drastically. The economies of the countries capable of mass tofu production would boom. Besides the fact that there might not be enough corn for ethanol, the environment would probably improve; one can grow many more vegetables in the space it takes to raise cows or other animals. And no, I'm not a vegetarian.

One surprising result might be an increase in the level of violence. Hitler was a vegetarian, and so, pretty much, were the aggressive and bloodthirsty Assyrians of ancient times. I admit to knowing of no scientific reason to think that the phenomena are linked, however.

If all humans stop eating meat, then a large portion of the population would die of malnutrition. There are certain nutrients that we can only get from animal products. Those who are vegetarians must take nutritional supplements in order to make up for the lack of these nutrients in their diet. Those people that live in third world countries would not have access to these supplements and would, therefore, die unless they eat meat. There are a number of people out there that want you to think that we don't need to kill animals to sustain ourselves. However, the fact of the matter is that we humans evolved as omnivores. In order to stay healthy on a wholly natural diet, we must eat meat. Anybody who tells you differently, does not know what they are talking about.

CHICKENS EVERYWHERE!!

The weight of overfed cows would tilt the earth and we all might fall off.
-
More burgers for me, because I'd commit suicide rather than become a vegetarian.

We would definitely have less satisfying food, and crappy restaurants that offered little. Quoting the old TV show ALF regarding a salad: " That's not food, that is what food eats." I couldn't make it all summer without BBQ's, that is for sure.
-
Our intelligence wouldn't grow - the whole reason our brains are as complex as they are is that we began to eat meat a few thousand years ago.
-
All the time and money would go in exporting and importing. I don't know how much will those people n the ice regions survive with no meat and only grains adn veggies? What will keep them warm and give them energy? No doubt life will eb cool with no hunting and fishing.... but sadly for them they won't be able to grow much of the vegetables...... and life will be infested with the animals they eat now !
-
Cows, pigs and sheep would suddenly become classified as pests as they eat all our valuable food. We might introduce lions to the country as a natural way to keep their numbers down ...
-
Global warming would be greatly slowed! For those of you who are Republican, lets just say that the environment would greatly benefit! Much less animal pain and suffering would occur daily. Maybe some of the government money that supports the meat and dairy industry would be used to support healthy heart living. Health care costs would be reduced. Lifespans would increase four to five years according to statistics! God would have a great big smile on his face!
-
We would have a massive amount of cows & pigs.
-
we would all be classified as little green men, because we would all turn green from eating too many veggies... and I would laugh at all of you for becoming the equivilant of martians because I would continue eating meat... it's what I do...
-
the planet would be dominated by animals(he i remember when I used 2 say aminals lol)

Food surpluses, longer lifespans, less pollution, lower health insurance premiums, more labor to allocate toward better goals.

The livestock industry will shut down after the last animal has been slaughtered and the world will truly thrive on vegetarian diet. This will give back more lands for plantations of grains to meet the huge demand of an exploding population around the world. Grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, and other products derived from plantations will dramatically drop in price. This will translate into affordability for starving countries to purchase to eat. It will also play a major role in reversing global warming. According to a UN report, the livestock industry is responsible for a massive 18% CO2 equivalent carbon emission into the atmospher. This figure is more than all the automobiles put together globally. http://www.fao.org/newsroom/en/news/2006/1000448/index.html If this 18% is removed from the equation, global warming could be reversed. This will be the only way to end starvation and world food crisis. The world will be less tense as everyone will feel more secure with meeting their needs.

The cows would take over....... they've been plotting & are just waiting for their time to come!
-
Cow gas would combine and eventually blow up when it finally caught up to the smokers that would naturally increase, due to the fact that they could no longer enjoy steak. *Or something like that?

If you mean totally vegetarian, we would probably be a very under-nourished population until our bodies fully adapted to the lifestyle. I myself am for smaller populations an subsistence farming. In fact, I plan on subsistence farming (at least mostly). That means growing my own vegetables and raising my own sources of protein - like chickens.
-
There would be more car/deer fatalities.
-
The vegetables would rise up and protest. They would carry signs reading, "Have you hugged your vegetable today?" and "Eat meat, not vegetables!"
