Doesn't matter what age she appears. What matters is what her parents say. Since she is a legal child under their authority, she should learn to work with them and stop looking for ways to work against them. She will be able to make all those important decisions about eye liner and foundation for herself soon enough -- in the mean time she needs to be a 13-year-old girl under the care of her parents.

There isn't any law against it, but it isn't a good idea. I know this line of thought became politically incorrect back in the seventies, but whether we like to hear it or not, the attitude of sex offenders didn't change. I know a girl might not be asking for it, and it doesn't excuse the behavior of an offender, but if you tart yourself up, you make yourself look like fresh meat to them. It may be that you have a right to look however you want, but do you really want to take that risk?

I didn't even start wearing makeup until I was in the fourth grade. (10 years old) So its ok for you to wear it. I think that a 13 year old girl should make decisions for herself regarding makeup, not her parents.
-
No, I wouldn't let my daughter wear it at 13 and she looked older too. The make up just makes her look even older than that.
-
Yes, if said 13 year old's, parents give her permission to.
-
Sure, but just be prepared for the consequences. Maybe your parents will be mad. Maybe you'll attract UNWANTED attention. Just be prepared for the results. Of course, if you're tasteful about it then there will be fewer issues than if you decide to go Gothic or trampy. My stepsister used *way* too much eye shadow, and a bad shade to boot.
-
Mine won't. That's just me being a "controlling Nazi`," not caring what all her friends are doing.
-
yeh, i started wearin make-up at 12. almost everyone i know wears make-up. just make sure its not too much.
-
No, it sure isn't for my daughters. I have no control over the bad parenting skills of others, but I don't have to follow suit. The fact that she looks older is a double reaon not to allow it. There are people out there called PEDOPHILES. I want my daughter blending as much as possible with the other children. Nature has a damn good reason for making animals look a like. It is called survival.
-
i did. i looked like a clown, but it was learning experience.
-
No, as a parent, I wouldn't allow it.
-
theres no law says they cant as long its not to dark or over done but the child needs respct the parents wishes unless they are in cheerleading or on a drill-team Im on a drill-team My self sometimes I have to wear makeup when needed
-
I honestly think it's not OK. 13 is too young for the makeup.
-
a little make up is all right, I don't think you need foundation, your skin is to young for that.
-
You have a pretty fine eye on you if you can tell what a 13 year old looks like compared to a 14 or 15 but to your question I would vote no. Maybe to special event with the parents ok - never to school.
