I live in new york im 16 years old and i just got my permit. i was wondering if i was allowed to drive legally in florida if i have some 21 or older in the car with me? im going on vacation soon and id like to practice my driving while im there.

    Your insurance may not cover you in all states. Ask your agent with a quick call to his/her office. You can get in a world of trouble in Florida. I know from experience.

    Nope. Learner's permits are for learning in your own state. You can drive in Florida and elsewhere when you obtain an actual license.
