Why does the 'activity' level seem to drop off when you're no longer an AB 'beginner', I mean the answers, not the questions?

I've actually found that my question well has pretty much dried up. In terms of answering less questions, for me that would be because I spend so much time on comment threads with my friends!!;)

This is a point I was making with a friend on a comment thread only a couple of minutes ago. I find it difficult to find questions that either pique my interest or that I have not answered before. In short boredom.
