The radio just played that recording of 'At Last' by Etta James. Anyone else love that rendition? I DO have the CD, but it resides in the 'infrequently played' section.

I know the recording and I like it too. The impressive aspect of the recording for me is how the singer hits on a string of supernumerary notes that are nothing to do with the basic melody itself, yet they fit perfectly into place and enhance the overall rendition. If you know what I mean.
