If you're sure it's infected don't take it out until it's better. Since skin heals from outside in, it can close off the drainage and trap the infection inside. Have you seen a doctor about it? In addition to antibiotics they might insert something to let it drain while it's healing so you can take the jewelry out. And if you take it out now, don't expect to be able to get anything in it later on, if it's a month old and infected it will probably close completely. It would be better to let it heal and get it repierced, taking better care of it next time.
