A king's daughter is to be married. To win the daughter, however, the future husband's horse must win a race. To win, the horse must come in last place. How does the victor acheive this without the race taking forever?

The owners must all switch the horses they are riding, that way they will all go as fast as they can to make it so that their horse will come in last. I know, strange huh?
