No, I dont look at addicted as a bad word. The definition, says, to occupy (oneself) with or involve (oneself) in something habitually or compulsively. We could use, aquiline, bent, compelled, curvated, devoted, hamate, unciform, uncinate. :-)

It's used a lot, and it probably hit spot on in most cases, but it doesn't always have to be a bad thing..
