What do you think about the jerks who vandalize cemeteries? What if it was YOUR parents' (or even grandparents' or other relatives') stones being damaged or destroyed?

I think its disgusting,thugs have vandalised my grandparents grave, its heartbreaking.:-)+

Anti-social behaviour. Those people might think that it's no big deal given that all the people buried there are not going to mind anyway, however respect and consideration for the memory of those that passed away and their families is trampled. Of course I don't like it one bit.

I THINK IT IS ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTING, HEARTLESS AND EVIL. IF MY PARENTS STONES WHERE DAMAGED I WOULD HEARTBROKEN. I THINK THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE CAUGHT JAILED AND MADE TO FACE THE FAMILYS AND SEE THE HURT THEY HAVE CAUSED WHILE BEING FORCED TO FEEL ASHAMED AND GUILTY WHILE THE LISTEN TO THEMSELVES GIVE A PATHETIC EXPLANATION FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE.

I think that if I ever catch some degenerate in the act of vandalizing a grave( especially that of a loved one), they are going to be just about as "screwed" as they're ever going to be in their entire miserable life! That's all I'm going to say .

I don't understand how they find any joy in it. After paying thousands of dollars to create a proper memorial for my mom I'd be crushed if some fool vandalized it.

Nothing good ever comes from messing w/ the dead! That is soo disrespectful! There's absolutely no sense in it. I honestly don't see what some idiot would get out of it.

I, apparently unlike the other asnwerers, have little attachment to the cold corpse that was once a loved one. I mean, it's a jerk thing to do, messing with a burial plot somebody else paid for, but my lack of belief in the supernatural means that the dead don't care what you do to their graves. I suppose I'd be a bit peeved about their rudeness, but we've never bought large headstones, and my parents are both giving their bodies to science, so... uh... I don't really care.
