  • Staying in college will not help your social skills unless you take social skills classes. If your college doesn't have them, you may want to transfer. Or you could scroll down to the bottom of this page, click on "How to Articles", then type "How to learn social skills" in the search box. You will find a lot of good tips there. There are also public groups such as Toastmasters that can help you learn the skills that are useful in a business career.
  • If you stay in college, your social skills would be attuned to those in the college age range, if you are there for eight more years, your chronoligcal peers would, in theory, be ahead of you. Really, though, simply interacting with friends will improve those.
