Imagine how hungry those people must have been who first decided to eat a snail,crabs, oysters etc.

Not at all. each culture has it's specialties but for the most part people eta what is available and affordable in their area.

- LOL! How true, though actually spam isn't that bad. It's real meat, identifiable:-) But I wonder about things like Pringles and juice boxes and American cheese-food.

- I guess I really don't have any. It is a shock, in a way, as to what people will & won't eat. They'll eat raw meat, but no veggies?? Now THAT, in its own sense, I guess IS a little strange!! ha...

- MMMM spam. No. Well, to answer your question, no, I'm not surprised. It's real easy to eat something bad for you when you can't see the immediate effects of it. Just like it's real easy to overcharge a credit card when you don't have to pay for it right away.

  Yeah. I know. Well, health isn't at the top of the list of values for a lot of people. It should be, but, most people just want to have fun and take a risk.

Indeed, I am. I would not make a good diplomat in certain countries..where "eyeballs" are considered a delicacy, for instance! :( Happy Friday! :)
