  • I would say if the pictures are in your camera, there IS a card in the camera already... perhaps the card in your hand is an extra? So it would be a matter of removing the card that's in the camera and plugging it into your computer, if you have that kind of slot on your computer. If not, you'll need the cable, instructions, and disk that came with the camera. In a pinch, you can dispense with the disk... but the instructions are going to be very useful. If you can't find the instructions, you can download them from the camera manufacturer's web site most likely. And so forth...
  • every digital camera comes with some amount of memory that holds pictures. What you need is the cable (it should have came with the camera) and plug it into the camera and the USB port on your computer and transfer it that way. If you don't have the cord/cable I would suggest buying one before your batteries run out because you may lose your pictures.
  • Some cameras have built-in memory. That sounds like it might be the case.... Pull the card out, and try to download the picture as if the card were IN the camera -- this would entail connecting the camera to the computer or printer (probably via a USB cable that came with the camera) If it works, you should see the same folder you see with the memory card in the camera (connected to the computer), but you should see the other pictures you took before inserting the memory card. Please let me know if this helps....
  • Thanks for your solutions............I finally read my camera instructions and there is internal memory without the card and it suggested putting the card back in locating the pictures on the internal memory and highlight copy which did work. However a cord did come with the camera and that is what I would have done. thanks, I was panicking. Especially when you tell people I will take the pictures and pass them on and then oops. It is great to know there is a site like this.
  • Hi Joanne, WELCOME to "ANSWERBAG" We love to see new members on answerbag, this is a Great website to learn new things about all subjects. Please do not take this the wrong way, But when a member answers your question, it is a good idea to give points to the answer which You think is the best, or you can give everyone points just for taking the time to answer. I am in no way affiliated with answerbag, but I do spend lots of time here. To give points to someone, put your mouse pointer over the + symbol next to the users name that you would like to give points to and click the left mouse button. I will give some points to everyone who answered your question, so far, just to get you started. I did leave a comment for you under your answer, but it never showed up, so I had to use an answer slot so you would get my little "WELCOME" message. It is great to see new members on here, and wish you the Best of Luck. I hope you enjoy yourself on "answerbag"
  • Some cameras have some built in memory. You should have gotten a USB cable with the camera and a CD with the USB driver for the camera. You have to install this and then you can "suck" the pics out of your camera with the USB cable.
